Pat's Barn is a distinctive, multipurpose venue that is ideal for conferences, daylong retreats, and other corporate and social functions.
The two-floor, 5,000-square-foot facility offers an open and serene atmosphere with flexible seating that accommodates plenary and breakout sessions.
In addition to large spaces ideal for group meetings of up to 200 guests, Pat's Barn has other segregated spaces for smaller gatherings.
A Beautiful Venue in an Ideal Location
For Judith Elad, the meeting and program specialist at the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS), Pat's Barn has been an ideal location for various social gatherings. "The Barn is an absolutely lovely place for different types of events," says Elad, who for the past three years has organized HANYS's annual holiday party for about 125 people. "The location is a plus for us because it's close by," says Elad, who added that the Barn is about 10 minutes from HANYS's corporate offices in the city of Rensselaer. "There is ample space for parking as well."
Service and Amenities
Pat's Barn amenities for corporate and wedding events include tables and chairs, temperature-controlled venue for year-round use, and a space that's fully wheel chair accessible, including elevator access to the second floor.
The Barn can also provide projectors, podiums, microphones, audio-visual speaker systems, portable and stationary screens, and teleconferencing capability. Barn guests can select from two highly rated caterers, Nicole's Catering and Inspired Events, that assist in providing food, beverage, and other hospitality services.
